My Burdastyle featured member profil

Today I’m the featured member on Burdastyle.com (I’m pretty, pretty psyched about that!). I really enjoyed answering the questions, it made me think about things I’ve never tried to articulate before, like how to describe my personal style and my sewing superpowers. I’ve been on Burdastyle pretty much since it’s inception when it was this cool Brooklyn start-up branch of Big Burda, which makes it feel even more special.

Plus it’s my birthday today (I’m turning 44) so I’m off to a good start! I think I will treat myself with a nice sewing related birthday present too, which is a buying a pair of high quality tailor scissors that I’ve been recommended. If so, stay tuned for a review of that.

Also a big thank you to all you who reads and comments on my blog. I feel very honored to have you around. It’s almost been a year now since I returned from my blog hiatus, and I love it!

      Yes I did. Was celebrated by my family and had a blast. Plus I got a iron steam generator from my husband, which I've been tempted by for years but never got around buying!

      Thank you! Yes I had a very nice celebration with my family. Also I got an iron steam generator from my husband, plus I bought myself a great pair of scissors too. So quite a sewing related birthday too 🙂
