Pant sew-along – Progress at last

Fabric cut:

Fabric notched and interfaced: Check
26 buttonholes sewn: Check

Okay, I still got miles to go, but at least the ball is rolling again. There are some question marks regarding some things now that I’ve cut out the pants in the dedicated fabric, but I will see this thing through. A few of my fellow sew-alongers has also been out of the rut for a while so this is a shout out to all of you as well. We can do it!

Also I want to give a little shout out to my new partner in crime, the Bernina 1230, for making 26 buttonholes (well, almost) a breeze thanks to the automatic buttonhole function. It took a while for us to get comfortable with each other but now I think we’ll stick around for a very long time.

Move over Ipod. The Swiss engeneers also got some tricks up there sleeves.

Congratulations on progress – the fabric you chose is admirably suited to the style.

Me likes your Bernina lots. I hope you two live a long and prosperous life.

Mary Nanna just bought a new Bernina too.

I have the Bernina 1230. I also have a 200E (sewing/embroidery) machine. I actualy prefer the 1230 It is a workhorse. I’ve never fed her anything she couldn’t take. For top-stitching, I always use the 1230. I have tons of feet for both machines (having a foot fetish). And although I sew and embroider on the newer machine, time and time again I go back to “old faithful”.

Oh, my word…. these pants are looking like fabulosity. I love your energy. Hopefully my allergies leave tomorrow and I will feel some energy to get back on the (pants) horse. 🙂

Keep going! See you at the finish line!

I can’t wait to see the pants. I love the buttonholes–what a nice feature. And by the way….I am so jealous of your sewing machine!
