Live on Sunday: Sewing books – the good, the great and those I avoid

On Sunday I’m making my first livestream on YouTube. I’m bringing out my former librarian and will give you the lowdown on my extensive sewing book library – yes back in the 90’s I worked as a librarian! Which is one of the reason I’m very passionate about reviewing sewing books! There will be sewing book awards given in several categories, some vintage sewing books chatter and I will also talk about which sewing books I avoid and why. I would love if you would stop by, chat and share your favourite sewing books. And of course you can ask me questions too. I’m a little nervous about having to talk only to myself for an hour or so, so if you could stop by and say hi it would be awesome!

When: Sunday 27th August. 8 PM Central European Time/2 PM US Eastern Standard Time

Ah bummer! Those darn time zones 🙁 But if all goes to plan, at least the livestream will be up on my YouTube-channel just like a regular video afterwards

Just watched your review of books on Youtube. I’m off to buy Serger Secrets on Kindle! Thanks for the information. I like the old Singer sewing reference guides which you can get quite cheaply second-hand on Amazon (great photos). The serger one is good and I have found it quite useful. The lingerie and activewear ones are very good too. Love watching your channel.

I really need to track down those old Singer books, I’ve heard several people saying they are useful and has solid information! Good to hear you got some tip from my livestream! I got an expanded shopping list too from what you watchers suggested 🙂
