Specialises in fabrics and notions for underwear making, but also sells moisture-wicking Supplex, Duo-Plex and supportive mesh.

AG-Textil (SE)
Stretch fabrics for activewear, including sports, dance and swim fabrics. Has Supplex and a large selection of mesh fabrics.

Anderson-Hjalmarson(SE)
Sells locally made, high-quality wool knit fabrics that are perfect for layering, including technical merino wool. Most wool fabrics are organic.

Shelby (FIN)
Specialises in layering fabrics for an active outdoor lifestyle, including both base layers and shell fabrics.

Janus (NO)

Manufacturer of functional wool activewear that also sells their fabrics to the public.

Germany

Aktiv Stoffe
Large selection of technical fabrics, mainly for outdoor workouts. The range includes Teflon-coated water-repellent woven fabrics and softshell, but they have a good section of base-layer (Cool-Max), mesh and fleece fabrics too. The shop has an English site too.

FunFabric
Stocks a lot of functional fabrics, for both indoor and outdoor uses. Sells membrane fabrics such as Cordura and Tactel, activewear notions, plus a decent range of functional knit fabrics too.

ExtremTextil
Great range of athletic fabrics for primarily outdoor activities, lots of fleeces and membrane fabrics to chose from. Also a great shop for getting notions, such as water-proof zippers and reflective piping. The website is also translated to English.

Spoonflower
This US company now also have a printing facility in Germany, making it faster and cheaper to order custom-print fabrics from them. They have several sports fabric that you can print on, including sports Lycra, performance knit and pique, plus fleece.

German megastore that has some activewear fabrics. This shop is also available in many European countries in local languages, for instance, My Fabric UK.

North America

Most North American sellers offer global shipping and have arguably the biggest and most diverse selection of activewear fabrics and notions.

USA

Spandex By Yard
Huge selection of functional knit fabrics in lots of colours and materials, including many compression knits and moisture-wicking fabrics. They also run a wholesale business.

Wazoodle Fabrics
Sells several different performance knits under the brand name Pro-Cool. Nice selection of colours and prints. Wazoodle also sells some organic fabrics that can be used for activewear.

Sew Dynamic Fabrics
Specialising in sustainable activewear fabrics including those made recycled plastic bottles.

Greenstyle Creations
Pattern company that now also sells a nice range of activewear fabrics, specialising in 4-way moisture wicking stretch knit fabrics.

Seattle Fabrics
Large selection of fabrics and notions, especially for outdoor activities. The range includes a lot of membrane fabrics, plus a good selection of mid- and base layer fabrics, including Spandex knits. They also sell a lot of great hardware and notions for making activewear.

Rockywoods Fabrics
Great place for finding left-over activewear fabrics from brand names such as Under Armour and Prana. They also offer a lot of technical membrane fabrics such as WheatherTek and Gore-Tex.

Sells supplex, power-net, swimsuit fabric, stretch mesh and more activewear materials in several colours.
