That is so interesting Johanna. I see all those types in the sewing community. Maybe there is one more as well: the person who likes to use their sewing as an artistic expression with a lot of personalising and using fabric painting and design, or embroidery, etc to make a statement. I’m not that person! Rather I would say I like to do a fair bit of planning, and curb my impulses a bit to get a well fitting result, without wasting time and money on projects that don’t work in my wardrobe.

That’s definitely a personality too! And as you say, not everyone has that inkling. I’m not that person either, but I’m very impressed with the artistry and creativity!
