Finally, a new pattern release! Today I’m dropping the PDF sewing pattern, Vide Knit Pants, a dressier take on knit pants, for that perfect mix of comfort and style.

Side pockets and back darts give these easy-to-sew pants a polished look.
Vide Pants are available in sizes: EU 32-56 (US 0-24)
Pattern features
- Elastic waistband (pull-on)
- Front pockets
- Back darts
- Subtly flared at the hem
- Suitable for stable knits with some stretch
- Optional stitched pintucks
- Fitted around the waist and hip, with ease in the leg area.

Depending on the fabric choice, you can make the Vide pants dressy or more casual. You can use fabrics such as Ponte di Roma, Courtelle jersey, French terry, felted wool jersey and cotton velour to sew the Vide Pants. Any type of stable knit fabric with a bit of stretch crosswise will work great for this pattern.

The back darts add such great shaping to the hip area and are also very easy to sew.

The Vide Knit Pants come with two style options; regular and stitched pintucks. There are detailed step-by-step instructions included that show how to sew the pintucks. A Vide Pants Sew-Along will be published soon too!

Check out the Vide Knit Pants in the shop!

Just saw this post and will be getting back into sewing A few questions about it: i’m a guy around 177cm 160lb I wanted to find out if I could make these for me. A few questions on the make, i love the pull on nature of them and in ponte di roma is wonderful great knit fabric and stable to work with, would I be able to adjust the leg width so that I have a skinny pant? and also add big cuffs on the bottom? Also I think this pattern would work with stretch fabrics for example bengaline or how about a wool with lycra. Is there a certain percentage of stretch or amount of lycra needed in the fabric. Thank-you for your time Jonna I miss talking with you. Corey
